SATURDAY NOVEMBER 1st, 2013: Still not fully recovered from the assumed tummy-bug from a day or so ago, so we decided not to go any great distance.
Took a trip up to "The Lookout" again for a coffee. Crystal clear today and can see all the way up to Chonburi and the mountains beyond. Hot & sunny again but with a nice breeze and nothing like as humid.
Took out another months lease on the motorbike but took a different bike; a Honda this time as opposed to the other Yamaha. I think Aom much prefers the older bike and I can see her wanting to change back to the original bike.
Here's another panoramic photo of the city taken from "The Lookout" above the city.

- TOP LEFT: Relaxing at The Lookout with an iced-tea for Aom and a lusty cappuccino for me. Click for enlargement
- TOP RIGHT: A stroll along Beach Road beneath the palm-trees.
- BOTTOM LEFT: Aom ready for the off from the apartment.
- BOTTOM RIGHT: Aom dressed as a condom? Yes, it does rain here at times and when it does, it's HEAVY
SATURDAY EVENING: One thing about this slight bug is that I have zero interest in beer. Hard to imagine I know! After getting a bollocking from my dearest the other night I think I'll ease off on the deadly Chang in favour of the more moderate Singha, Leo and Tiger beers in future. Problem is, not being a lager drinker, Chang is the only beer here that has any real taste; for a lager it's OK.
After saying the day has been less humid and breezy, it's very very humid tonight. The temperature's plummeted to 32ยบ as I write (21:00), but it's the humidity that's the problem.
Anyway, here's a bit of Thai culture for you; some traditional Thai dancing. The dance routines represent four different parts of Thailand; north, south, east & west.
The second movie is an enactment of Thai boxing. (both movies are an extract from a longer movie on Page 18)
OK, on the same theme of traditional Thailand, this one HAS to be aired! The photo was taken at our Thai ceremony some time ago and it's Khemjira and me in traditional Thai dress (a bit Star Trekky maybe) but the family loved it and, to be honest, I'm kinda proud of it !!
